I even begged to do chores for just a few minutes in the saddle.

What a journey it’s been; heartbreaking, inspiring, filled with supportive, encouraging people, and the occasional “what the heck are you doing?!”

Meet the Team

While it’s often said that a successful business requires the support of a partner, spouse, or family member, my drive and inspiration come from my love of horses.

Twice a Diamond Joe 2009 – 2019

Twice a Diamond Joe has been my personal mount since 2009, when I found him in Illinois. Back then he was a 4 year old unbroke Breeding Stock Paint. I couldn’t have found a more gentle horse to see me through my ‘senior’ years. Sadly, Joe was put down in November 2019 due to complications from EPM. RIP dear Joe. Your life was cut way too short. Moving forward to 2024, I have found a smaller opinionated mare, who at 4yrs old is proving to be quite the challenge. There is no doubt that she will become a solid trail horse, but it’s going to take some time.
